Safety information
The doses and dosages are set individually, taking into account the severity of the pain syndrome. The single dose of 15-30 mg is administered every 4-6 hours. For patients with a body weight less than 50 kg and patients older than 65 years, a single dose may be reduced. The maximum daily dose is 120 mg. For the treatment of acute pain in the postoperative period, the first dose is 30 mg; The administration of the same dose can be repeated in 15-30 minutes. In the future, you can apply 15 mg every 30 minutes (until the maximum daily dose is reached). The maximum duration of the drug intake must be not more than 5 days. The drug can be used intramuscularly, intravenously and inside. If necessary, you can get a prescription on the simultaneous intake of toradol along with narcotic analgesics.
Ketorolac is not prescribed for erosively ulcerative lesions of the gastrointestinal tract in the phase of exacerbation, aspirin asthma, renal dysfunction, pregnancy, early postpartum period, breast-feeding, sensitivity to Ketorolac, aspirin or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs.
