Safety information
Tetracycline is prescribed to adults - 250-500 mg every 6 hours. Children older than 8 years - 25-50 mg per 1 kg of body weight every 6 hours.
The maximum daily dosage for adults in case of an oral administration is 4 g.
In case of prolonged use, it is necessary to monitor the functions of the kidneys, liver, and hematopoiesis periodically.
The use of tetracycline in children during the development of teeth can lead to an irreversible change in their color.
